Don Bernardo Benedicto opened a trading business on Plaridel Street in downtown Cebu, dealing in wire ropes, cables, and lifting products. The business earned its place by having what builders needed, at a fair price, when they needed it. When it later moved to Cebu City's North Reclamation Area, the street it moved to was named after him: Don Bernardo Benedicto Street, where the company is based today.

1962
Incorporated as B. Benedicto & Sons Co., Inc.
Formally incorporated on June 14, 1962, with his children as incorporators, setting the foundation for decades of continuous growth under the same ownership.
1970s–1990s
A move to North Reclamation, and a broader catalog
The business relocates to Don Bernardo Benedicto Street in Cebu City's North Reclamation Area and branches out well past wire rope and lifting gear, into the full range of hardware and construction materials.
